What are the most important qualities to look for in a moving company?

The number of years a mover has been in business is usually a very good indicator of how good they are at keeping their promises. A reputable moving company will provide you with a free in-home estimate and will offer a variety of services, including pick up, delivery, packing and unpacking, crating, appliance servicing and special handling.

How far in advance should I schedule my move?

You should schedule your move as soon as you have determined a firm date.

When will the movers arrive on moving day?

Time should be confirmed one day before load date by a VanEx Team member.

Will the movers place my furniture where I want it in my new home?

When your goods are delivered, they will be placed in the appropriate rooms of the home so that they are readily available for the owner’s use.

When should I contact you if I need to re-schedule my move?

If for some reason you need to re-schedule your move please contact your United Moving Consultant as soon as possible to notify them of the change.

How Do You Protect My Furniture During Transportation? 

We wrap and cover all furniture with cushioned moving blankets, which are included in the base price.

Do You Supply Packing Materials?

Yes – we can supply you with any packing materials you might need, including cardboard boxes, scotch tape, and bubble and shrink wrap, at reasonable prices. Please note that we only sell packing materials to customers hiring our movers. We also offer partial and full packing services on demand.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

CANCELLATION requests are accepted. RESCHEDULE requests are subject to availability. The deposit is fully refundable if canceled/rescheduled more than 3 days (72 hours) before the move date (for low-demand dates) and more than 5 days before the move date (for high-demand dates). We reserve the right to refuse and immediately cancel the move and retain the deposit in case of unsanitary environment within the household assigned for the move out or move in.

Does your moving company provide insurance coverage for my belongings during the move?

Yes, we offer comprehensive insurance coverage options to protect your belongings throughout the moving process. Our insurance policies are designed to provide peace of mind and ensure that your items are safeguarded against any unexpected events during transit.

Are There Any Discounts Available?

We are happy to reward the loyalty of our returning customers with a 10 per cent discount on our hourly rate.

When Does Billing Start?

The clock starts running once our movers arrive at your pick-up address, and the hourly rate continues through loading, transit to your destination, and unloading. The clock stops at your drop-off location once the truck is empty and all set-up tasks are completed.

Are there any hidden fees or extra charges?

When you move with VenEX Delivery Moving. INC., all charges are disclosed to you at the time of your estimate consultation with a Moving Consultant. There are no hidden fees or extra charges.

Do I need to empty out my filing cabinets?

For safe transportation the contents within filling cabinets should be packed into cartons.

Am I Responsible For Packing My Belongings?

We offer reasonably priced packing services if you are unable to pack your items on your own. Should you require our packing services, however, we recommend that you arrange for them prior to your moving date to allow for sufficient planning. The time our movers spend packing your items will be billed based on our standard hourly rate.

Which Payment Methods Are Accepted?

VanEx accepts cash, major credit cards (3% convenience fee), and Interact email money transfers, Personal and business cheques.

  Packaging and unpacking are usually some of the most stressful parts of the moving process, but I was really impressed by their professional work and behavior. They do residential and commercial moving, packing and delivery services, and they helped me pack and move my things from one home to another without too much stress.
